one disturbance
and all is unclear
darkness engulfs you
the eye is calm
but the further reaches
leave a rippling effect
and the dilemmas of life
trickle about leaving
no room for serenity
the asylum is gone
so where do you turn?
let the water run
down my face
the soothing sound
of rain
close your eyes
lift them slowly
the world blurs
and for a moment
all is calm
the cold soothing droplets
run over me
as i stand still
one more glance
snap back to reality
begin to walk
water at your feet
